My son attends Springfield Secondary School in Cosham and they are going to Kenya in August 2019 with African Adventures. They are a company that specialise in educational trips dedicated to improving lives in the UK and Africa.

The purpose of the trip is for the pupils to get involved with local communities by volunteering their services. The roles will revolve around “Teaching and Multi-sports” and “Building and Renovation”

In preparation for the trip, children are participating in fund raising activities to help pay towards the costs.

My son has decided to compete in the 5K Great South Run in October to help raise funds towards this trip. This will be a life changing experience for him and provide benefit to the communities involved. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
