Story
The Remembrance day parade in Melton Mowbray has been a large part of the towns history for decades and honours the fallen as do we all around the country on this day. So
I would like to help the community as I have family ties to the military and the Royal British Legion raise money for the Melton Mowbray branch.
My contribution to this will be running 2 marathons back to back on the 28th of October for Halloween. The second will be my first night marathon and the first time I will have run 2 in the same day.
I figured how hard can it be? It's the least I can do considering these people we remember gave there lives.

7 years agoI would like to thank everyone who has supported via this page, assisted with fundraising and help organise. I am looking forward to presenting the cheque to The Royal British Legion of Melton Mowbray on behalf of you all. Oh and yes I did complete 2 marathons in the same day 😧

This is amazing. This parade has been a part of life in Melton for the last 98 years. I just hope it keeps on going for many years to come. Well done to Richard for setting this up and good luck.
