    Weʼve raised £630 to help with essential maintenance.

    Story

    PLEASE NOTE; I am keeping the page open a little longer to see if I can raise some funds for essential maintenance works at the museum. Please see details below. Thank you x

    This page was originally set up to raise funds to purchase a vintage flag to add to their collection of memorabilia, thankfully due to the generosity of local people we've achieved that goal.

    UPDATE;

    After visiting the museum I could see they also need funds for essential maintenance works. Ceiling, windows etc.

    The ceiling needs to be replaced asap, a good plywood will be needed for this job............realistically a cash 'injection' of around £2000 would help so much, but whatever I can raise will be a bonus..........so, if any of you can donate any amount however small or large towards the cost of materials we would be extremely grateful........

    Thank you x

    Here’s hoping and thanking you all in advance.....x

      The lovely old Union Jack was delivered to the museum on Saturday 10th February, they are thrilled with it. Thank you to everyone who donated. There are some repairs that need doing much sooner rather than later, hence the reason I am keeping the page going to a little longer........any amount will be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone x
