I am starting this crowd funding for Riverside Primary School in Hullbridge. I work on the PTA for the school and we have recently been granted planning permission to rebuild the changing rooms for the school swimming pool. The current changing rooms are cold and have no running water or disabled access. The new changing rooms will mean that the children have a warm environment to change in, are able to shower and use the toilet facilities. It will also mean that the pool can be hired out to the whole community including our disabled residents. This in turn will ensure the pool pays for itself, rather than being a burden on school funds.

Unfortunately, the supplier we had lined up to supply the building materials has pulled out leaving us in a bit of a predicament.

We now need to start raising money to buy the building materials. Although we are running several fundraising events throughout the year, we are a small community pulling on the funds of the same parents over and over.

If you have even a couple of pounds to spare to our cause, we would all be immensely grateful.
