    Story

Abbotsbury Primary School is a maintained school in Morden, the London Borough of Merton. Grace was a pupil here and took a full and active role in school life, performing on stage and playing in the netball team amongst other activities. Grace won the award for Creativity in her final year here, for her performance in the Year Six show. She was a reliable girl and always helpful towards her peers. She was respected by staff and pupils alike and always had a smile on her face.
Grace's family have always, and continue to, be very supportive of all we do and stand for at Abbotsbury. Now it is our turn to support them.
In the Autumn Grace was diagnosed with craniopharyngioma, a tumour in the brain. She underwent a successful operation before Christmas, but the rest of her treatment is not available in the UK. She needs to travel to USA to receive Proton Therapy and we would like to support the family in raising funds towards this necessary trip.
The children at Abbotsbury have thought of lots of ways that they are going to raise money to support their friend and we would be very grateful if you could donate to help us towards our target. Thank you.

We now only have 7 days left to raise as much as we can. Thank you so much for your donations and support. It really does mean a lot to us and Grace's family. The school community has been amazing too. We have held a concert, non stop netball shooting, book sales, a disco and sold curry, to mention a few. Please do share this page on Twitter and Facebook so we can maximise the number of people who see it. Thank you.

The staff and children cannot believe how generous everyone has been. When When I set the target at £5000 I was very conscious of the fact that I wanted to be realistic. Seeing how much people want to help us support Grace has been incredible, so please continue to donate and let's try and double this target!
