I have Run a local football group on a weekly basis for the last 4 years at Whyteleafe football club every Tuesday, Our group enables players who cannot always get child care, along with shift workers and people who are not currently in employment.
Our group gives people the chance to get out and meet new people and make good friendships along with the benefits of getting good exercise for 1 hour each week.
Our group is a self funded and takes alot of hours in the day to organise and clean and sort kits out for 4 teams.
Our group has no extra funds to replenish kit and equipment that needs renewing on a regular basis, once we have paid for fees to use the facilities.
I have previously had to pay to keep the the group in kit and equipment such as football's first aid kits pumps etc and i am now asking for a little bit of help to Reach our target of £600 for another new sets of shirts this year along with some new football's and a better first aid kit
I have run this group for about 4 years now,
for a great bunch of people all of whome come on a regular basis when the can to take part and get active and get fit which is so rewarding to everyone who takes part each Tuesday.
