    Story

    Hi all

    this is robert wimble

feels more like a ponce and beg but if im totally honest at this stage id do anything i can to help my dad with whats been a horrific 2 years for him fighting this horrific illness

anyone that knows my dad will know that he wears his heart on his sleeve he absolutely lives for his family and adores everyone of them and will help anyone in trouble,he loves a chat he plays pool has loads of mates and loves his football and im so proud and the luckiest man on earth to have him as my dad hes my hero and idol the same as all his kids and wife feel towards him

this page has been set up to help us find the money for his next 2 treatmens with resin @£1800 each time

my dad didnt want this page and is such a proud man but i couldnt not try and help him with his terminal illness id give anything i could to keep him with us for as long as we can

the next stage of treatment has worked fantastically well with others and were hoping for the same results in my dad

heres how were at this stage

2nd sept 2015 my dad was diagnosed with esophageal cancer he had a camera down his throat where it was detected and scanned to see where and what type,we was given good news it was treatable after 9weeks of chemo and an op which was only 30% of people that had this type but it was major surgery

he had to have biopsys of the cancer to make sure it was treatable before his op during that process they nicked his liver where he bled internally and caused an Infection which he was in hospital for a week on anti biotics

13th jan was dads first op where halfway through a 9hr op they had to pull out,he was in intensive care and they pulled my mum and myself in a room saying the bleed from the biopsy had caused mass scarring on his organs and theres no more they could do except spend 3 hrs removing scar tissue from it all and dont expect my dad to live longer than 6 months, after a long chat he decided my dads age was on his side he would give it 5days and see how it looks and possibly go in again

after my dad coming round he was given the news 😪

during the 5 days he got an infection, his stomach inflated and went up in his chest

18th jan we got good news he was happy to go in again 9hrs later we was told it was all out and a very tricky op but they was happy and waiting on results from the biopsy to see if it was all gone the same day my sister his daughter was giving birth to his grandchild so it was a rollercoaster of emotions

a month later we was taken in and told my dad was cancer free the best possible outcome from the biopsys

during october my dad was feeling really unwell and on the 7th his mum my nan passed away we put his feelings down to this

he was adamant it was more so insited to go for a scan as his back ache got worse and worse

after a meeting at qa in porstmouth they finally agreed to a scan

the worst news possible theyd found cancer was back in his gland and this time not treatable

we researched all we could and found that cannabis resin had helped a lot of cancer patients and actually cured a lot aswell so we got straight onto it,the resin was placed under his tongue in a small quantity at night before he slept

anyone that knows my dad knows hes anti drugs and was a hard push to get him to try, anyway he did and during chemo he kept really well suprisingly

he had nights where he woke up high as a kite and hated the sensation

this cancer has stopped him from working and that breaks his heart

dad has become a little more poorly over the last month and weve been in touch with someone whos first hand had amazing results with a different type of cannabis resin and the way its taken

the problem is its in a higher dose but no side effect which is where hopefully this page will help us fund it for him

again my dad is against drugs and was even agaist this page hes such a proud man

sorry if this offends anyone and please please dont feel you need to help i just think its our duty as a family to try all we can to give his as much time with us as possible its what he deserves

if you want to donate annonymously that would be amazing but id love to know who has as we'd be so grateful and eternally in your debt

    thanks again
