Story
I'm hoping to raise £200 by doing a sponsored bungee jump on the 29th of October to help raise funds for the Love and Light organisation in North Lanarkshire.
This non profit operation, ran completely by volunteers help children and families affected by addiction or alcoholism.
Their services include a weekly group which offers a safe environment for children and families to go and get a bite to eat at their very reasonably priced cafe, they take kids and families on holidays/days out,retreats and weekly speakers etc all to help repair and heal some of the damage caused by addiction/alcohol.
This truly is a wonderful cause who do great work in a community which is crying out for more services like this.
