So, I'm kinda fighting with myself about doing this because I hate relying on other people, but I hope anyone that reads this understands.

On Tuesday 20th February, at around 7:15am my dad, Robert "Bob" Goodall passed away after a short fight with cancer which started in his pancreas and very quickly spread around his body. As much as I'm overwhelmingly upset about this, I find great comfort in knowing there was only a month or so between his diagnosis and his death, so thankfully he didn't suffer for long. I was at his side when he lost his battle and I only hope that was a comfort for him. I was told that the last thing that goes before the fight is lost is your hearing, if that is the case, then he certainly knew how much his family loved him and thank him for the things he taught us, did for us and really, just for being him.

He has left behind his wife, Michelle, my two younger brothers, Sam who is 9 and Josh who is only 7 as well as my two step sisters, Hannah and Marie. He'll never get to meet my son, his grandson that's due to be born in May, but my boy will hear wonderful stories of an incredible man. As you can imagine, my step mum has an incredible amount on her shoulders that no person should have to bear.

I'm going to be doing everything I can to support my family but with my own family starting very soon, I'm not able to support them financially. So this is what this page is about, I was wondering if maybe you amazing people might be able to spare a couple of pounds to help me raise some money for my dads funeral to try and lift just a little of the weight that my step mum has been lumbered with. If you could do this for me, you have no idea how much I will appreciate it and if there is anything I can do for you in return, please, please, just ask. I'll do anything you need, help around the house, walk your dog, sort your garden out, whatever you need.

If you aren't able to help in that way, the one other thing I'll ask from you is, once you've read this, just pick up your phone and give the people you care about a call or a text and tell them you love them, you never know when you wont get the chance again.
