Story
Did you know your local church receives no funding from the government, none of our tax goes to help keep these beautiful buildings we want to get married in, have our children Baptised in, wander around, research our ancestry, and maybe make our final journey from this world from. Money is raised or given by church members and local communities. As churches are linked to organised religion they struggle to get grants to maintain these buildings. Ride and Stride is a fundraising opportunity for us to get out on our bikes/legs/bus/skateboards and visit these fabulous buildings, it is a good day out and hopefully this year Rob's Ride and Striders will raise some money for Hampshire churches.

7 years agoHi, Just to let you know the Riders and Striders had a great day, and didn't get wet! the girls covered 10.7miles each and the boys around 30 miles each. The Weyhill Fair did a brilliant lunch, and so far with all our giving we are heading towards £400. please feel free to still donate, and many many thanks to those of you that have.
