I have chosen to spend part of my Summer Volunteering with Hope - Mission Zambia after learning about what exactly the organisation does to help. I believe it will be very tough and eyeopening, yet also an amazing, rewarding experience. Any donations are greatly appreciated to help me meet my target no matter how big or small!

Hope - Mission Zambia aims to provide relief from poverty and to advance the education of the people of Zambia. As a result of this, beneficiaries will be able to avail of an improved educational experience, leading to better job prospects and ultimately to a better standard of life. By providing food to some of the poorest people in Zambia, they obtain nourishment and nutrition which leads to improved focus and concentration in school, which will help to empower them to achieve a higher level of education and relief from an impoverished life. However, it is not only about helping out with education and poverty. The time spent engaging with the children makes a huge difference to them also, whether it be teaching them songs and dances or just sitting with them.
