When was 17 my eldest sister died of cervical cancer. When I was 24 years old I was also diagnosed with testicular cancer, and unfortunately on turning 30 I developed lung cancer and was given a 50/50 chance of survival. This was extremely hard to deal with but fortunately a good friend of mine John Joe O’Neil got me into Christie Hospital at Manchester which my doctor told me even he couldn’t of got me into! I owe him so so much and many others who helped me through such hard times, November until March having chemotherapy was tough! Several of my friends have been taken this way so I feel I want to put something back into cancer research and in addition to this raise funds for the fantastic work the Great North Air Ambulance service provides - what else can I say we might need them ourselves one day! So many accidents where people would have definitely died without our angel in the sky.

So please help me raise whatever we can for Cancer Research and the Great North Air Ambulance.
