If you know me, then you will know why my local Domestic Abuse charity is one that is close to my heart.

Not only do they support women and children who experience the things Roman and I experienced, not only did they support us, but I am also lucky enough now to be working with them to protect local victims.
It was at Christmas time that my “journey” began five years ago, and with every year getting a little easier, we are looking forward to a peaceful, happy Christmas this year.

In our refuges, however, there will be many women who are going to be waking up on Christmas day trying to tie frayed strings together to create some kind of Christmas for their babies. Some won’t be able to spend time with their families because it won’t be safe, and many simply won’t have families to spend that time with.

Roman and I would like to take the pressure off of these mothers, and brighten up Christmas Day for their children by putting together 25 Christmas Stockings to drop off for Refuge staff to deliver on Christmas Eve.
