Romford Netball Club were gearing up to watch many of our heroes take to the court in the England Vs Jamaica Vitality Legends Series - 2021. Sadly, due to the pandemic and England experiencing record highs in cases and deaths, the series has been postponed.

Knowing that sport is so important for supporting our Physical, Mental and Social well-being we have been coming up with ways to keep our community active.

So, in the absence of being able train or play ourselves and our Roses no longer making the trip across the pond to Jamaica; We have decided as a club, we are going to Walk, Run or Cycle the 4,708 miles from Romford to Jamaica.

While doing so, we are hoping to raise some money for our local community. Many of our members work on the front line in Health Care and Education and we would like to try and support either a Care Home or School with a laptop and or tablet to help residents stay in touch with loved ones and help a child access their education while at home remote learning.

We appreciate that these are difficult times for everybody, but we have the opportunity to donate a small amount and make a big difference.
