Story

Ronald McDonald House Manchester provides free, ‘home from home’ accommodation and support to families of poorly children who are being treated in Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital &/or St Mary’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

As an independent charity, it is our priority to do all we can to look after our families and target to minimise the stress and anxiety they are feeling.

In this current climate, our families need us now more than ever. Having spoken to some of our families this week, it has come to our attention that they are understandably frightened to visit local shops and supermarkets in fear of coming into contact with those who may have contracted the virus. As you can imagine, what is already a traumatic & emotionally testing time, is now severely exacerbated due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

We want to be able to help our families in any way we can but need some help to achieve this. We need your help. A small donation will help us provide vital food packages that will be delivered 100% contact-free. It is so important that families eat well in order to maintain overall wellbeing during their child’s stay in Hospital, which can sometimes be for weeks or even months at a time.

Your donation will help us fulfil our mission

Thankyou
