Story
5 years ago my wife and I privately fostered 3 girls before they went to official foster carers. One of the girls will soon be turning 18 and we have been made aware that she will no longer be able to stay with her current family when this happens. She wishes to move back in with us however we currently do not have a spare room in our house due to looking after 2 other young people in our care.
We would like to build a bedroom to the side of our house so that we can offer her a safe and loving home while we continue to support the 2 other young people in our care.
We don’t expect to raise anything like enough to complete this task but anything will help.
