In July 2017, I will be embarking on a South African adventure, where I will be living as a local villager in the tribal community of KwaZulu-Natal. During this experience I will be improving the local living conditions, helping indigenous villagers gain critical education, infrastructure and hygiene, and assisting in vital conservation efforts. The opportunity will involve a minimum of 40 hours hands-on community-based volunteer work, which has been provided by VESA, Volunteer Eco Students Abroad program.
