I have decided to open this page in memory of my Nan, who passed away on January 15th 2017
Three days before her 73rd birthday
Her funeral is on February 1st 2017
I have been inundated with ask of flowers and donations and where and how these can be sent
So this got me thinking in that instead of flowers maybe the donations could be used in a memorial way
On the day we will be accepting donations for our superb local hospices that were so close to my Nan
But anyone who has wanted to send flowers and gifts I just thought that we could provide a fitting memorial bench in our community in memory of my Nan
My Nan was just the most amazing lady I have ever known
She was selfless generous to everyone kind hearted and just the epitome of pure love
She brought me up for nearly all my life, being there every weekend then living there from 10 yrs old
She was Nan my second Mum
Best friend and loyal protector
Our memories are so much I could write forever but ones I will keep so close to me
I have realised what heartbroken means and what an empty space I have but it is my aim to keep my Nans memory going
I plan to raise money myself for the charities close to my Nan in my own personal life doing events and partaking
So I raise this page in the hope of not begging but feeling that it's a great way of using donations to be put to a better way of memory rather than flowers that fade but a memorial bench will stay for people to remember forever
