After the trip, when kids were coming out of the bus, several women came to where we were and said "I have to take my child to this school next year." Personally I'm very proud to be a teacher at Rossholme!

Including the £50 from our neighbour, we are now over 50% of the total needed for Rossholme's first school trip. Borrowing money from the Rossholme in Kenya fund, I paid Joyce the money she needed yesterday to ensure that the children could go on the trip today. They have had a wonderful, exciting day and every child has benefited from the experience. Thank you to those who have already donated; your help has made a real difference to those young lives. Our fund pays the rent and staff salaries every month so needs every penny we can raise...

We helped out our neighbours the other night and they have kindly donated £50 towards the trip. This means we now have over £200 available - Joyce, her teachers and the children are getting very excited now with the trip organised for 10th October
