I hate asking for money but I feel at the moment that this is my only option to keep my head above water.

My epilepsy has been out of control since just before Christmas last year. Since then I have been unable to work except for the odd week or two. I've sustained third degree burns, had skin graft surgery, been in intensive care twice and spent prolonged periods on neurology units in an attempt to bring it under control. I am currently awaiting more tests as an inpatient. I am trying to return to work in the meantime but this has to be approved by the medical officer, who I can't see until August 30th and there are no guarantees that he will allow me to return then. I am now on zero pay due to the amount of sickness I have had and this means that although I have paid my rent this month, I have limited fund for bills and basically no money for food so I am living mainly off of cereal. I won't get paid this month meaning that I will be unable to afford my rent or anything for September, leaving me in serious financial difficulty. I have sold a huge amount of my possessions, including most of my retro gaming collection in order to fund my living over the past 9 months and I am running out of options. My parents have helped to keep me afloat but they cannot support me full time and have their own stuff going on.

The stress of the financial pressure is making my condition harder to manage as stress is a big trigger for seizures, so I feel like I am in a never ending cycle.

My personal independence payment application is still being processed so I am receiving no government support at this time. I want to be working and supporting myself but it just isn't possible at this moment in time. Any money received will be towards rent, bills and essentials only. I understand many people are strapped for cash at the moment, and I don't expect people to donate but thank you for reading <3 Take care.
