Fantastic news - the distribution centre will not go ahead and we will receive partial costs

The applicant, Equation, withdrew their appeal, with only just over a month to go. This is the result we wanted!

It wasn't clear that we would be able to recover our costs, which were upfront costs to experts to build the case.

We have received notification from the Planning Inspectorate that RRA have been granted a partial costs award. This is excellent news as our costs from 13th October 2022 are covered. This includes all our Legal and Transport Expert costs.

We now enter into negotiation with Equations Lawyers. Once we have settled our claim with them we will look at how we distribute that back to our donors in a fair manner .

Any donation will probably not be refunded in full as this is a partial costs award but we hope it will be the majority. Thank you to everyone who supported us in this battle and for your patience.
