Help us save our mum!!

We are a very close family and love our mum and best friend unconditionally. Our mum is a very strong courageous woman and an inspereration as im sure you will agree when reading about her fight! It all started back in 2000 when our mum was diagnosed with her first challenge with the dreaded C word! She got cervical cancer and had a radical hysterectomy and went into remissions. In 2011 after a short illness mum was taken into hospital and after several scans disccovered a shadow over her lung and AGAIN was diagnosed with cancer only this time of the lung our brave mum fought yet again for her life not only for herself but mainly for her 8 children, grand kids, husband, parents and family. After a life threatening operation to remove the cancer from her lung along with removing most of her lung along with various other complications our mum battled on, adapting her life to surviving with half of her lung removed and other medical conditions that developed from the cancer such as COPD. Never once have we heard her complain, have self pitty, want to give up or ever even consider letting this despicable decease beat her. As if our beautiful mum hadn't been through enough in 2014 scans showed up that for the THIRD TIME the cancer had returned and the fight yet again started all over. She has had numerous courses of chemotherapy & agonising radiotherapy UNFORTUNATLY she had severe reactions to the chemo causing heart failure not onse but twice AND YET our mum fights on! In 2016 we was told there wasn't a lot more that could be offered to mum and we was clearly expected to just accept that this disease would take over. Well after 3 agonising, terrifying, exhausting fights WE are not prepared to sit back and give in! Neither is our mum! Our amazing mum isn't just another number on the statistics of life's that cancer takes! Our mum is our world and we won't give up without knowing we tried EVERYTHING possible to help save her!
