Story

I am riding my bike on the L'Etape London - a 117 mile ride - in aid of the Michael Green Diabetes Foundation. Set up in memory of Michael, who died unexpectedly of Type 2 diabetes, their aim is to make people aware of the dangers of obesity and unhealthy lifestyles, and to help fund a diabetes unit at Watford General Hospital.

Mission accomplished! Great weather and a well organised event made this a super day on the bike. My overall time was 7.5 hours including cake stops.
