Story
TOUGH MUDDER SATURDAY 7th JULY 2018
So, we are trying to raise as much money as we can for the amazing work the Dolphin Ward PAH did for Ashley and his family in Oct 2017! After a tough couple of weeks in early October 2017 and various doctors appointments, Ashley was admitted into Harlow Hospital for tests as they were unsure what was causing his problems! After numerous tests Ashley was finally diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes :( this came as a huge shock to, not only Ashley’s family, but his football family too! Ashley is a fit, strong and healthy boy, and his diagnosis has opened the eyes of us all! Ashley has taken this all in his stride and has adapted to his new routine amazingly, just like we knew he would! He now has to test his blood sugars everyday, for the rest of his life, at least 5 times a day and inject insulin to manage his levels! Please help us to raise as much as we can to not only give back for all the help we received from the nurses at PAH, but to hopefully one day find a cure for this awful illness.....

We have decided that we are going to take part in Tough Mudder on Saturday 7th July 2018 to try and raise a few pennies for Harlow Hospital as we have been impressed with the support we have received since Ash was diagnosed and we would like to do something in recognition of that
