    Weʼve raised £8,750 to MIND in Newham - Following the huge success of last year’s Royal Wharf Charity Football Night we are holding another one on the 16th Feb 18.

    This time the charity that the event will be in aid of will be MIND in Newham, based locally in Stratford, Registered Charity No: 1006927

    We will be using part of the money to hold the event and all the money remaining will be donated to MIND in partnership with Ballymore, Munnelly Logistics, Newham Council, CCS (Considerate Constructor Scheme) and the help of all the subcontractors.

    Mind in Newham has a vision of society where people with mental health and emotional needs are accepted and included without fear of stigma and discrimination. They want to work towards a society where service users’ needs and ambitions are supported and where people with mental health and emotional needs are free from stigma and discrimination. They believe that everyone has the right to access comprehensive services which enables them to reach their full potential and to work towards their recovery

    The overall aim of Mind in Newham is to work in partnership with people and communities to promote and support mental health, wellbeing, resilience and recovery and to challenge stigma.

    Event details:

    Date: Friday 16th February 2018

    Time: Kick off 6pm sharp until 8pm.

    · Floodlit 5-a-side pitches

    · FA-qualified referees

    · Engraved trophy for winning team, plus winners and runners-up medals

    · Fixtures compiled, drawn & managed by Lucozade Powerleague staff

    · Full use of facilities, including bar and lounge area (for those who may not wish to put on a pair of boots!)

    ·The competition will be followed by a BBQ & drinks in the bar
