    Story

    Background

Effect.org operates schools in India which saw decreasing numbers in girls’ attendance. Upon learning they were being lost to the trafficking trade, Effect.org founder, Casey began to create a documentary exposing India’s trafficking underworld. Whilst filming, Effect.org made valuable partnerships with nonprofits fighting trafficking throughout India and Nepal.

In partnership with Effect.org, volunteers will travel to Nepal for 7-day international volunteer experience. The teams will learn directly from survivors, and organizations combating human trafficking. Volunteers will join forces with local entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders and engineers to build and design innovative solutions to the barriers experienced by nonprofits.
