Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
Since being diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder I have been confined to a wheelchair for all outings outside my home and unable to keep fit, putting on weight. It's time now to change this. With this in mind I would like to train for long distance wheelchair events for various Neurological Charities but to do this I need equipment which is expensive. The sum I am trying to raise will pay for an entry level racing wheelchair and the various training aids required. I am hoping to enter my first event, the Isle of Skye Half Marathon in June of 2018. Any unused money raised will be donated to the ex-Services Wheelchair Sports Association. Should I be unable to continue training for any reason after getting the equipment I will donate it all to the ex-Services Wheelchair Sports Association. Many thanks in advance.
