2017 was the year that I lost my big sister Mandy after suffering a sudden brain aneurysm and spending 3 awful days in the ICU at Edinburgh’s Western General hospital, I want to give something back to the wonderful staff there who did their very best to save my sister and reward their compassion the best I can.

So i’ve decided to enter the Scottish Half Marathon on 30th of September in Glasgow to not only challenge myself but to try and raise some funds for the ICU team at the Western. Ive set a target of £500 but to be fair, being over 18 stone and the furthest i’ve ever run being 5k its going to take a massive amount of training and effort for me to complete this so happy to take whatever you can to help raise some funds, thank you in advance for your donation 👍🏻
