On July 1, 2018 I will be taking part in Delamere Commando Trail - a 6.2 mile course of multi-terrain and varying underfoot conditions.
The course includes obstacles, walls to climb over, tunnels to slide down, water to wade through, logs to carry and apparently much more 🙈

Why?? For a young lad called Tom.

Tom is 10 years old and has recently been diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma - he is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment at Alder Hey Childrens Hospital; this will continue for 2 and a half years.

Sadly Tom lost his beloved Dad - Rich, 5 years ago following a battle against Cancer. Despite what Tom and his wonderful family have been through, Tom always has a smile on his face. He has an amazing sense of humour and constantly makes people laugh. He is a cheeky chappie, a typical lad and has a love for Everton football club. I am hoping to raise money to contribute to a larger fund which aims to provide some financial support when it is needed. The money will also enable Tom and his family to see as much of the world as they can, as they have had to cancel their family holidays for this year, which Tom was devastated about.

They deserve something to look forward to after what they have been through and for what they are going to go through in the coming years.
