7 years agoYou are all brilliant. I'm pleased to announce that we raised £200 (ignore the JG total that isn't accurate). I will be visiting the New Hope Trust on Friday to talk to the rough sleepers about what they would like to do with the money, as I heard a rumour that money has already been set aside by the council this year for sleeping bags. Do drop me a line if you have any suggestions...I was thinking of using a little of the money to put on a community meal, another idea was to give them cooking lessons! Let me know your thoughts...

7 years agoLots of enquiries, and three firm bookings so far! As you may know, as Neal is sadly closing Reason Bookshop, we will be hosting the classes at Nascot Wood Recital Hall instead. Please keep sharing - the price of each student at the weekly class equates to one sleeping bag for a homeless person. If you can't (or don't have any kids to drop off!) make the classes please donate - it's roasty toasty weather now but as we know, the temperature drops considerably in the winter :)
