Story
Albie was born at 37 weeks via an emergency c-section but unfortunately, suffered a cord prolapse. At 3 hours old Albie started to have seizures every 15-30minutes. He underwent numerous EEG, MRI's, blood tests and lumbar to try and find out the cause of his Epilepsy. As Albie came up to his first birthday his Mum was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer at the age of 32. She is now in remission but will need hormone therapy for the next 10 years. As Albie has grown it has become apparent that he cannot use his arms properly due to having Arthrogryposis and has severe global development delay. Currently Albie is 3 years old, he is unable to sit, crawl, walk, talk or play with toys. They are desperately trying to adapt their very small bungalow to meet Albie's needs. They are very thankful that they are entitled to a government grant of 30k for adaption’s but due to the work needed to adapt their home they have been told the costs will range from £50k to £55k on a budget
