Story
We are working with Kibera Primary school in Nairobi, Kenya to raise funds to help renovate 4 classrooms.
Currently the children are studying on a cold floor. They are desperately in need of desks and the money we raise will specifically go to buying these for the 4 classrooms. Each desk costs £63 (9000 Kenya shillings) and the school needs 110 desks in total.
We originally set a goal of £2000 but based on the overwhelming donations received so far, we have now increased the goal to £3000. The more we raise, the more desks we can buy!
Myself and my two daughters will be visiting the school end of April to take the funds directly to the school and personally purchase the desks.

6 years agoA huge THANK YOU to everyone who has donated and supported this initiative so far - we reached the £2k mark (and still going)! The school is in need of 110 desks in total, across the 4 classrooms. Our aim is to help supply as many desks as possible. So far, £2,016 will pay for 32 desks.
