    Story

Hi I'm Sabrina and thank you for clicking on my crowdfunding. I'm 14 years old and have been diagnosed with Endometriosis, after 4 years of debilitating pain. I have missed out on a lot of school, socialising with my friends and generally being a teenager. I want to be able to go out and have fun without having to worry about needing to call my mum in tears asking her to come and pick me up because I am in too much pain to carry on. I want to finish school with good grades and go to university, so I can achieve my dream job. I need my life back.

I'm Donna, Sabrina's mum. Sabrina has not had the best of lives so far having lost her dad suddenly at the age of 7. Along the way of being diagnosed endometriosis she has also been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and PCOS amongst many other conditions. These have all contributed to many hospital admissions over the 4 years.
The photo is where we managed to get out for a meal to celebrate her 14th birthday last November, soon followed by a dash back home due to severe stomach cramps and vomiting! (No birthday cake was involved)!
Up until now she has been seen on the NHS. We have now hit a problem whereby we had to seek the expert opinion of an endometriosis specialist who will see a minor under the age of 18. This we have found in the form of an amazing Consultant Gynaecologist who comes highly recommended by many endometriosis support groups. However the major problem is that in his expert opinion Sabrina needs further laparoscopic investigation surgery (this is the only way further endometriosis can be identified and excised) and he can only do this privately at a cost out of my reach. I have some insurance cover but not to this extent. Any donation would be greatly appreciated to help Sabrina move forward with her life.
Myself and Sabrina have agreed that any unused funds will be donated to Endometriosis UK. They provides support across the UK to people suffering with Endometriosis and fight to find a cure
