What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

FACT: Mental health problems are experienced by one in five children in their first 11 years of life! And many adults with lifetime mental health issues can trace their symptoms back to childhood.

FACT: Head teachers in primary schools across England have raised pupil wellbeing and mental health as one of their top concerns.

Fact: The present waiting times for a child to be seen by CAMHS or the Clinical psychology team is a minimum of 4 and a half months!

Imagine being a family who has a child suffering from anxiety or depression having to wait 4 months plus to even be seen by a professional.

This is where we come in....

Bridging the Gap

Our Mission: We want to nurture personal growth and emotional wellbeing through self-exploration, creativity and play. By providing low cost creative therapy, workshops, groups and parent workshops; to bridge the gap and provide early intervention to children and their families.

A Mothers Heartache!

My heart broke in two when my 7 year old son came to me and told me he wanted to die!

I was devastated! what on earth was happening to my beautiful, kind, once happy confident little boy? I rushed him to the GP who made a referral to the mental health team... I waited patiently for weeks praying for someone to help my little boy who was fading before my eyes! I didn't know where to turn, who to talk too...

My son then stopped going to school, he couldn't leave his room or leave my side!

I rang the GP again 4 weeks later begging! Please help my son. She said I will do my best and sent out of the GP surgery. 2 weeks later we got a call.. please be the news I need to hear! My heart took a jump " your sons referral has been accepted"

my heart sank

"you will get an appointment for 18 weeks time!" How was I going to keep my son and myself going in that time???

This is where tiny seeds to mighty trees rescued us...

I was lucky to be able to afford a little bit to get my son some support and the therapist was brilliant with him! She did arts and crafts, sand tray and so much more with him and she helped support me too by offering me advice on how to deal with his depressive outbursts!

She kept us going!

This Mother was lucky to have the ability to access a service like ours. However, many are unable too.

FACT: A recent article reported that the average time a primary school aged child spends on their screens instead of being outside or engaging in play is 6 hours a day!!!

We want to bring children away from their screens and engage in therapeutic creativity and ecotherapy! We want to foster diversity and the unique qualities of each individual by helping each child to realise their full potential. We also want Parents who are confident in their ability to raise resilient, confident individuals.

We are raising money to buy valuable equipment needed to provide a nurturing and safe environment. We also want to be able to offer our services to more people by having a grant so we can offer subsidised prices or free sessions to those who would otherwise not be able to access our services.

This is why your generous donations are so gratefully received!

By giving just £35 you are helping one family to access one full Therapy session.

By giving just £10 you are helping a child to access a nurture group.

These groups and services are so needed! yet the support and funding out there is lacking.

Please help us by donating today and making the lives of children and their families better!

Thank you
