On Sunday 29th July 2018, we lost our beloved father, Mirza Abdul Haq who was 99 years of age Mashallah.

During my father’s life, he helped the poor and needy, the yateem and masqeen in need, may Allah bless him and reward him for his good deeds, Ameen.

He also built a mosque in Pakistan and a madrassa in his home town village for children to read and memorise the Quran.

His last wish was to build a Kabaristan, (cemetary) for the deceased in his home town in Pakistan as the existing one was over 150 years old and has limited space for any new graves however, due to his ill health, he was unable to start this project but gave his instructions how to construct and design the new cemetery to his son to fulfil his last wish InshAllah.

"When a man passes away, his good deeds will also come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)" Narrated by Abu Hurairah, Sahih Muslim.

Our target of £10,000 is to build and construct the Kabaristan (cemetery), which will also consist of a prayer room, a water well, wooden benches, materials to construct new graves which will be ongoing. In addition we will provide funeral expenses to the bereaved families and support them with immediate and additional costs that widows and widowers may face.

After we reach the final target, any extra funds will be used for the up keeping of the cemetery and to construct new graves. All funds will be held in a trust account and managed by a committee.

I will keep everyone updated with a documentary of pictures and videos of the Kabaristan (cemetery) project once we have funds to begin.
