I am a student who is trying to complete my studies, everything was going ok financially in year one and two, but now that I have hit my last and final stage, I lost my sponsor, they can no longer sponsor me. Since then I tried everything to get help. As a student hitting first class honours I do not want to give up without trying hard to get help. I am from a low income background and am the first one to go to university in my family. I stand as a good role model for siblings to follow. I want to get out of poverty and be a contributor to the economy instead of a taker, yet recently due to my lost sponsor I have had to revert to food banks. I have done all that I can to try and find part time work and was successful, but the meagre earnings has not been enough to meet my maintenance and accommodation cost. If I am given the chance to complete, I want to support others from low-income backgrounds and provide workshops for others to learn the industry and to encourage others humble backgrounds to study.

This is my final step to keep me on my course despite this being my final stage, but I must try everything before making the step to cease studies. If you are able to assist and would like to pay funds to the university direct, then this would be ok as I have been interviewed by the university financial advisor and she is able to support me with a reference if required.
