Story
From the 17-20 July 2018 Nick Lane, Jack Hawkins and Sam Griffith will be in Nijmegen, Holland to complete the 100 mile Nijmegen march!
The road marching will last four days and our team will cover 25 miles consecutively on each day equaling 100 miles in total.
Training started way back in January for the march and everyone has been selected after completing the RAF WARMA march at RAF Cosford in April. This event is used as a qualifier for the Nijmegen march and covers 50 miles over 2 days.
As part of the RAF Air Cadets everyone in the team will be in uniform and as Nick, Jack and I are all over 18 we will be carrying atleast 10kg of dead weight in our rucksacks.
We are looking to raise funds for 124 Hereford City Squadron Air Cadets for some new equipment. We are also hoping to inspire young people to join cadets and promote just one example of an amazing opportunity available to cadets in this organisation.
Please give generously to help us reach and exceed our target!
Please feel free to ask us any questions and we look forward to sharing our stories, pictures and blisters after the event.
