    Story

Hi, my name is Samantha. I'm a 29 year old mum of four beautiful, and adventurous children, I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, asthma, and suffer with severe depression and anxiety.I'vealso been diagnosed recently with ulcerative colitis and I'm awaiting tests through my rheumatologist for arthritis.
Many People have asked me why I chose to have four children when I struggle to look after them, the truth is, after my first baby, I knew I wanted more children, but after my second baby was born sleeping in 2009 at 27 weeks, having a large family was my dream. I had so much love to give. But the fact is my fibromyalgia was triggered by the premature birth of my last baby in 2013. Now that I've been told I probably have other chronic illnesses, I'm trying to focus and struggle on being a single mum, but my children's school is quite far away, and every day is a struggle to get my babies to school and back, and keeping our home clean and tidy.
The school runs alone take nearly all my energy reserves, getting dressed and showering pretty much takes the rest. Which Means I can't do anything with my children outside of school. Having a power wheelchair means I can save my energy, to do more with my babies, but it's not fixed everything.
Thanks to a friend, I've been made aware of a treatment that could help to reverse some of my fibro symptoms, and help with my fatigue! and if very much like to give it a go, but money is an issue.
Hyperbaric oxygen treatments could give me a chance of reversing some of the symptoms, like the chronic fatigue and the aching and pain... it's advised that to start, you should have two treatments a week for the first two months.
This could just be the break I've been begging for, for the last three/four years!!

So, for those who aren't aware, I've been diagnosed with another chronic illness. The last six months I've been losing weight very rapidly, through not even trying, I've also been losing blood from one place nobody really wants to lose blood from. So although it was embarrassing and I was scared, I saw the GP who referred me for a colonoscopy. Monday 14th came around and i had the procedure, I'm glad I did it. I've got ulcerative colitis as well as fibro, and chronic fatigue syndrome, I'm also waiting for tests for arthritis. Which sucks 😔

So, somehow I managed to get one hell of a bargain and managed to get my power wheel chair!!! Had it a week and it's a total life saver. If I'm honest I don't know how I lived without it before lol Now it's down to getting a bench for my shower, because showing really takes it out of me and I currently end up sat in the bottom of the bath 😔 i also need a ramp to get in and out of my house. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped me out. There's still things needed to make life easier, but I'm on my way thanks you you guys 🙂 xx

So My mobility is getting so bad now that I'm thinking I may not be able to take my babies to school soon... Which will be problematic. But the pain I'm experiencing is so bad, is making me literally sick... I hate not being able to do what any normal mummy should :-(
