Weʼre raising £3,000 to To provide a club for young people on the Autistic Spectrum who need support in leaving their homes and attending social activities.
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Parentlink have been providing services to young people with disabilities, ADHD and on the Autistic Spectrum for 8 years now. Many of our young people come from low income families and do not have the resources to give all they can give. Imagine NEVER being able to leave your child, imagine NEVER being able to attend a doctors appointment or your friends NEVER coming round because the behavior of your child scares them and imagine NEVER being able to sleep through the night. Our carers provide respite to these parents, allowing them a few hours to themselves and allowing them a good nights sleep on occasion or supporting them to go out with a child. Our parents don't plead for help, but they do deserve it and a few hours rest will help recharge their batteries and help them to carry on caring for their children, re-energised.
