Sachy is a very dear friend. She lives with her young daughter her mother and grandpa in the town of Moron in Cuba. Her home is destroyed and they have lost everything. Her young daughter is frightened and obviously traumatized by the intense destruction. . Most of the locals had employment in the hotels of Cayo Coco, however, with them also not running there are no jobs.
Food is limited and they are living hand to mouth, literally.
I want to help her and her family rebuild their lives. The media focused so much on British Virgin Islands and Florida and supplying aid but nothing about the direct hit on Cuba.
Any donations for the family to assemble some sort of normality will be sent to her via western union money transfer.
I know the emotional scars will be with them for some time to come but having basic needs met will be an enormous step forward.
