Weʼve raised £194 to repair the roof on our giant tortoise enclosure
- Bristol, United Kingdom
- Funded on Saturday, 7th October 2017
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
we are an exotic rescue who take in any exotic animals. We rehabilitate and care for all our animals to the best of our ability. We currently house over 200 animals ranging from reptiles, tortoises to monkeys. We are currently a not for profit organisation who are currently waiting on a charity number! We receive no funding from any other source than people visiting and our own money.
Our giant tortoise enclosure urgently needs a new roof. It appears to have been damaged by someone walking on it.... and with the cold weather coming in soon we urgently need to replace the roof. Sulcata tortoises do not hibernate and need an ambient temperature of 80 degrees with a basking point of 100 degrees so keeping the heat in from above is critical.
we are a local Bristol rescue centre and we appreciate your support more than you know. Thank you for reading our story
