In June 2018 I will be travelling with a group volunteers to Malawi in East Africa for 10 days to assist with the building of houses as part of the Children and Orphanage programme with Habitat for Humanity.

In Malawi, 4 out of 5 families live in poorly built homes made of mud bricks, dirt floors and grass-thatched roofs. Homes constantly need repair and families are at high risk of disease. The poorest are worst affected, including the 1.4 million children who are orphaned or vulnerable, largely as a result of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Shelter can lead the way to a brighter future for these children including access to education and improved health. I am very excited to be part of this project and would greatly appreciate if you would take the time to donate safely and securely.
