My son Jerome is a 14 year old boy who I solely look after. At the age of three he was showing signs of problems with loud noises and other people. By Age seven he was running out the school building and regularly complained of stomach and head aches. My son now hears voices, sees things he shouldn’t, doesn’t sleep and is scared to eat due to the fact that he has paranoia that people are poisoning him.
The end result is that he now refuses to go to school, I’m trapped at home with him as I’m scared for his safety. (He’s tried jumping out of the window) I myself have tried to end it all. I’ve tried everything I can to get my doctors to take action, to get help but to no avail. I’m still at home, with no help and no closer to the truth. I am asking for funding as I feel it is the only way I can get help for my son and I and quickly.

I contacted a private psychiatrist who explained Jerome’s traits and they believe he is heavily autistic and needs a diagnosis in London to get help in order to finally get me the help I need with SENCO (special education and medication and therapy) The cost of this is £2’350. We have seen so many people and have fought for 5 years and still we are no further and my son has no education, no friends and no life, just isolation and violence from fear and anxiety.
If you can please find it in your hearts to help us, it would end a life of misery for both my son and I and we can finally get the answers we need to get the help he deserves.
