I am running the Great South Run on the 22nd October in Portsmouth. I have never run this far !! It's 10 miles 😱. I am raising money for Crohns and Colitis and increasing awareness of these diseases. I suffer from ulcerative colitis and thanks to the advice from the charity I have been able to make informed decisions about treatment. They support sufferers and their families to live with these horrid diseases. I have had some trying times, hospital admissions and the prospect of surgery over the years, but I am currently well with the support of a drug called vedolizumab. I wish to run this to help others who have, or know someone who may need the support from the Crohns and Colitis charity.
