I'm running the Bath Half marathon this year to not only challenge myself to be the fittest I can be (bearing in mind I'm a working mum!) but also to raise money to help support Domini Barry - a woman I am indebited to.

Domini runs postnatal support groups in Bath for women who find that being a mum isn't all roses all the time. She provides a place where mums can share their highs and lows without fear of judgment, they can talk about what becoming a mum means to them and how it's affected their lives. Domini also helps new mums work through some of the complex, conflicting emotions that becoming a mum can bring, and that's what really helped me become the mum I am today.

These groups are free to anyone who might need them, but they are run entirely on charitable donations. To keep being able to offer this kind of incredible support to mums in the Bath area, I want to give something back to Domini and to others like me who might just need a helping hand at the start of their journey into motherhood.
