Sarajevo has a huge problem with stray dogs due to people not neutering despite it being free to do so. I am planning to go to Sarajevo this year to visit my good friend Leah who has fostered some of the street dogs and finds them loving homes. While I am there I am going to volunteer at the dog shelter. I am fully aware of our own problems with stray and abandoned dogs here in Northern Ireland and Ireland so I am not looking to bring any of these dogs back home. I would like to be able to take out veterinary and other supplies to help in some way so if you would like to help anything you can spare will be gratefully received.
