'Saúde Sobre Rodas' Project

Kwanza Sul is an Angolan province, with an estimated population of 1.7 million inhabitants (mostly rural). Sadly, the majority of the population struggles with a low standard of living, which also comprises a precarious access to health care.

Given this dramatic scenario, in order to reduce diseases, such as yellow fever, and to help improving the standard of health and comfort in the region, we created this project. Through ‘Saúde Sobre Rodas’ (Health on Wheels), we not only intend to deliver medicines to the community, in July 2018, but also to provide a mobile medical centre, fully equipped, enabling health assistance to those living in the most remote areas of Kwanza Sul.

Along with the crowdfunding, we are raising money and awareness by developing diverse activities, such as keychain sales and a marathon from Oxford to London.

We hope this action can significantly improve the health of these people and encourage others to help as well.
