    Story

As many people know earlier this week we got our first ever dog as a married couple. A very soft and loving 9 month old Jack russel Pup that we have named "Copper". Copper was vomiting almost immediately but as you do we put this down to nervousness or anxiety, he threw up in the car on the way home. We tried feeding him biscuits after but then he carried on being poorly. We then took advice to not feed him for 12 hours but Copper carried on vomiting.

We then tried him on cooked chicken breast and by this time he was very hungry but once again he could not keep any food or water in his tummy. Copper would have spells where he would wag his tale, plays for a minute or so and shows the will to take to "us" his new owners but then throws up and he's a different pup (Drowsy, Withdrawn, Crying).

We have spent 3 sleepless nights on the sofa trying to comfort Copper with know signs of improvement. We tonight took him to the vets who advised he was very underweight, dehydrated, their maybe something lodged in his stomach. Tonight he has been taken in to intensive care, Having xrays done, I.V Drip and his poor little leg was strapped up with a cannula.

we have paid £350 so far towards coppers treatment raised by family and money we had put aside for ourselves for Christmas.

Coppper passed away on 21/12/2017 as their was nothing anyone could have done for him. It seems he was born with an abnormality where he struggled to digest any of his food, his stomach lining was too thick and he was in pain.

You werent in my life for very long Copper but I love you and I miss you. Please keep trying to raise money for Copper so we can settle his vet bill and let the little guy Rest In Peace! :,(
