We were ecstatic to find our missing house cat Tiddles after 6 weeks outside but unfortunately she is suffering from refeeding syndrome and hepatic lipidosis (liver failure) as a result of starvation and dehydration during that time. After a week of going back and forth to the day vet and emergency vet and failing to get a diagnosis she's at the Dick vet hospital in Edinburgh who are taking great care of her and she's making slow progress. Our insurance allowance has already been used up though so I thought perhaps friends and family might like to help her out as she'll have many more weeks of tube feeding at home and vet visits to look forward to. We have our fingers and paws crossed that she'll keep making good progress.
