Twinkle was born 2002, in my bedroom when I was only 9 years old and I loved her from the very first second. I loved her for 10 long years, but she sadly had to be given away when I moved out and went to university as she wasn't happy at home with the new dog. I wish I could have taken her with me, but my halls that were located half way across the country wouldn't allow it.

7 years later, I am finally able to provide her with a home with me again and got to have her back in my life, for however many years she has left.

I took her for a check up the first week I had her, to see where she was at and was faced with terrible news. She has 1 advanced infection on one side of her mouth which can be seen below, compared to healthy gums in the picture below that  several missing and rotting teeth and another infection the otherside of her mouth, where she will need more teeth taken out. She is a very lively and friendly cat who shoudn't spend her final years in pain, unable to eat and suffering when she is otherwise very healthy and according to the vet could live well into her 20s easily.

I am absolutely devastated to discover this and have tried everything I can to find the money to pay for it.

She needs an x-ray to see if there are any more problems below the root, an anesthetic, a drip to keep her kidneys and other organs going during the procedure and of course the actual dental work which will be a scale and polish and several tooth extractions and it's all added up to more than we can afford as a family on extremely low income with a new born to take care for.

We are unable to take out credit to pay for it also and got rejected for the payment plan, otherwise I would do so in a heartbeat. I need help, she needs help, I don't know where else to turn and I can't bear to see her slowly deteriorate in pain and miserable. Any help at all would be so greatly appreciated.

£600 is a lot but it is the maximum that the vet has quoted for all the work she needs.
